Discover my portfolio of startup investments. As a software engineer with years of experience, I have made strategic investments in some of the most promising early-stage companies. Explore my portfolio to see the companies I have invested in and the potential for growth and success.
I am always on the lookout for innovative companies that have the potential to make a significant impact in their respective industries.
In particular, I am interested in investing in B2B, B2C, or B2B2C companies that operate in the agricultural, education, industry 4.0, health, and finance sectors.
I typically invest in companies that are at the MVP, startup, or scaleup stage, although I will occasionally consider PPT opportunities. One of the key factors I consider when evaluating potential investments is the strength of the team. I prefer to work with teams that have at least one tech person with relevant equity and at least one founder with 10k hours of experience in the field of focus.
I also prioritize companies that have a strong business model, preferably one that is based on SaaS or a platform. While I am open to a variety of revenue streams, I do not invest in companies that rely heavily on advertising as a primary source of income.
It is also important to me that the companies I invest in are solving real problems and have a deep understanding of their niche customers. The founders of these companies should have a clear vision of how their solution addresses these problems and should be committed to the long-term success of the company, rather than looking for a quick acquisition exit. I typically prefer to work with experienced founders who have a proven track record of success and are not in their first startup.
I am open to exceptions in cases where a company is attempting to solve extremely hard problems, usually related to one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. In these cases, I may be willing to overlook certain criteria, such as the stage of the company, the business model or sector, if the company is able to demonstrate a clear solution to a real problem and a team that is strong enough to tackle these hard problems.
Ultimately, my goal is to invest in companies that have the potential to make a meaningful impact and are committed to long-term success.
